Fantrum, I was able to get the operator, parts, and service manual very inexpensively in PDF format online. They are searchable too, I like the Control F. If you are interested I can send you the site in a message. Not sure how this forum is with posting links.

Thank you very much for that offer! I think this forum is pretty open to posting resources, as I've seen a lot of that. I know Jensales (might not be spelled correctly) has the manuals, they're actually the only place I've found a parts manual online. I have an operator's manual, but it's apparently for the Series I (just guessing) because there are definitely differences and someone provided a different wiring diagram from a later manual.. So finding a manual specific to my Series II would be amazing, but I haven't seen any online manuals specifying series except "valid for Series III".
The shop manual I have is nice, but it doesn't talk about many of the things I'm looking into... Like the parking brake. No mention. No help.

So, "too long, didn't read"... Yes, I'd love your additional resources. Ha! I seem to have a hard time finding the right resources, despite looking pretty intensively.
