Looking for a transmission for my HD-5, mine has five forward gears. I also need a muffler and starter solenoid . Needs to be in North Nakota or Minnesota unless you would be willing to ship. Thanks, Matt 218-779-1206
Oh and I still need a 271 detroit for my other HD-5

Still ghave not got to that engine I have , on the starter I changed all mine over to M42 late model starters with a solonoid instead of foot rod and contact switch.
 Have a couple of the old style starters around also.
I have parts for a single reverse trany , some gears and such, unsure if i saved the case or not.

Yea I need the case, mine has split along the side it's about a 9" crack, it hammers in first and is hard to get in and out of 3,4,5, sometimes. No hurry on the motor. Thanks

i have several complete hd5 transmissions. live in pa, so shipping may be more than what it is worth. i am in 19446 zip, figure at least 250lbs. check shipping and see if it is worth it to you.
HD5B, HD5G, (2) FARMALL A's, CUB. DO IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME, IGNORE THE LAUGHTER. FLANNEL IS ALWAYS IN STYLE.
