I've got a Char-Lynn power steering pump on my WD45, and the darn thing simply will not seal.  Does anyone have a source for the rubber gasket for the lid?  I tried cork, but it won't quit leaking until it gets about half empty.  It's roughly 5 1/2 in diameter, and I just don't know where to look for it, and I've got a feeling cutting one myself is just another recipe for failure

I had the same problem with the resevour on my system. I added some gasket maker to both sides of the cork gasket and that fixed that leak.

Get a new rubber gasket from Stiener for a 600-800 Ford with the Eaton PS Pump it will be the same.
If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY
