Can you remove the pto seal with out taking the cover off? |

Yep, if you got the right tool. Drill a small hole in the outer edge of the metal and screw a sheet metal screw into it. Grab a hold with a slide hammer tool and tap it out. Best drain the lube out first or you might have BIG wet slippery spot on the floor or driveway
![]() My little slide hammer tool is a vise grip. I take the screw out of the handle and put in a piece of threaded rod about 18 inches long. I have a piece of 2 inch cold rolled steel about 3 in long with a hole in it that I put on the threaded rod for a slide hammer and weld a nut on the back end of the threaded rod. |
