I’ve been looking for a good row crop tractor 150+ horse, missed out on what seemed to be a good 9170 deutz but last night I found a 8070 two wheel drive but it doesn’t have power shift rims and looks like it is set a little wide for 30” rows. My question is can I move the wheels in enough without power shift rims and I ask because a few years ago I bought my 7060 with 34” rears but drop center rims and 36” centers is as close as I can get the rear tires into

Pretty sure you are correct....it takes Power Shift wheels to get them into the cab. I wouldn't let that keep me from buying it. Weld some ears/flags to the rim and just bolt it to the inside of the cast center. Then, adjust the wheel center in or out to get it exactly where you want it. Some have done this going from 38 to 42 inch tires.
