Why in the world are these blades made more than an inch and a half long ?? There's NO way in H%^#L any saw can cut that accurately with a blade any longer than that !!

I 'saw' that one was coming.... Probably a 'perceived' value / marketing thing. $4 for 4" is ok....$4 for 2" , BAD ! BTW longer blades cut 3" styrofoam fine

That's what i use to trim my trees a cordless reciprocal saw and 6- or 12-inch blades. Of course, I don't care how accurate the cut is as long as the branch comes off.

I have a worn blade that I snapped off at about 1-1/2 " that I use when cutting drywall in demolition work so that I don't end up cutting through electrical cables. I watched my SIL use a Sawsall with a about a 6" long blade for cutting out some drywall when he was renovating one room and ended up having repair the drywall in the adjacent room as well.
