its obvious and needs pointed out to some that increase horsepower increase component stresses. i would also like to point out that a connecting rods highest angular speed is at 90 and 270 degrees.

Spunky... I'm going with the KISS method and well.. You should just go away.

Also, supersonic air speed has nothing to do with the stress and stain on a rod. Look at the equation for torque once.
Before you jump to physics II you should try physics I. Physics is why rods bend at severe angles.. Statics is a fun class... Try it sometime..

At least I have put forth bonafide info between my old head and my new one. Thats more than the beat-around-the-bush, say-but-you-really-dont-say-anything BS that spews from you. Like all those motors you were building, your big stroke crank that you "were sooo busy working on" . Nope. Jealous Mitch and No Pic Mitch so on and so on. You're a One Pump Chump, buddy. Its too bad, all this. I mean, you had 6 or 7 people fooled. The rest tolerated you because you were talkative. Now, EVERYONE KNOWS you are a putz. You proved that beyond debate. Its not even arguable anymore.

If I can attribute anything to you tho, you're persistent. You may act the fool, again, and again, and again, and again, but you keep after it. You hustle. Almost like you are just too ignorant to know when to quit. But Im not actually SAYING that you ARE too stupid to realize you are in the bottom of a pit, which you dug yourself, however, I could see where one, anyone, everyone, might draw that conclusion.

I guess you DO hold some value tho, too. I mean, look at most YT and UNOFFICIAL Topics. Lately, you single handedly hold the power to ruin alot of good conversations by breaking in and spewing unrelated garbage on everyone. Pretty strong stuff. You hold the posting participation down JUST by showing up. No one wants to DEAL with you. Therefore not many people post after you do. Thats PRETTY HANDY so everyone can catch up on their reading. You kill it DEAD.  Thats alot of power. Maybe more power than any motor you ever blew up. And to think, I was about to refer to you as useless...

Just like Round-up, De-Con and Abortion, you kill something off. "A good topic? 14 posts with some info exchange? I better post some garbage "...and...BAM!! DEAD POST!!

Now obviously, some of this is tongue and cheek, and I know your ego wont let you take it harmfully. So, when you go stand in front of your imaginary Gleason crank welder, and make imaginary ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ welding noises, think of this; You can fool some of the people some of the time, but you cant fool all of the people all of the time.

Good night, buddybear.   Sleep tight in fantasyla....oops capitol F Fantasyland, cause you really live in it.

Just tired of this guys negative feed back, I was just showing you what i can do, and within my rules i do very well. So like i said. Good luck in tenn. or were ever. You haven't seen a tractor from Wi yet eh? I'm pretty sure there has been a few that were posted in the vid section that are from Wi. Also that crank Wi posted pics of and you said wouldn't work... I believe the video of the first pull out looked pretty darn strong for a LSS on alky in test mode. His record is posted on the website for all to see unlike your's.

How's your junk pouland chainsaw with no rakers running?   Go home troll.

What about Wi's balistic tractor that you get wet dreams over? That's fromWi... How about the 4 cyl moline running limited light super. That's from wi. I think Carl on here is from Wi.

What about the head on Andy's tractor??

Also.    SF fan. You edit your posts almost as efficiently as the spunkster, friends, same person?
I guess i should have said at a pull in the south  from wisconsin. I still haven't seen a picture of rods yet have you ? yeah andy was going on about his head on yt flowing 148 cfm thats not 260  you would think a fellow that can get 260 would at last be at 180 with minor details but is at 148. when you boys in wisconsin can follow the tn and missouri 4.750 bores in them 226 engines then you can say you can build a tractor . its amazing a post like this will get all kinds of replies but a technical post like the one on i made on m@w pistons sends you guys running with tales tucked

Just another way the Pankster can use his vast mindful of mathematics LOL
When I find a valve that I want to use that is too long for the application, I have put them in a lathe, cut to length and re-cut the retainer groove. Seemed to work fine and I didn't have to use the calculator or a bunch of paper to figure out different geometry.  Wink

have you figure out why the lock nut for the allis factory rocker  lash adjustment screw has to relocate to the bottom of the rocker with a sbc valve .100 long yet to have good thread engagement?

"We" don't cobble things badly like you do spankey. We use parts for correct valve train geometry and use new springs in our pulling and race engine building programs. Just like your shop though we are fictional and only pulling legs and jerking chains here on the pulling forum amungst the real tractor pullers.

You do have quite a reputation to uphold on doing things wrong and not being able to figure things out for yourself or should I say "yourshelf". Regular engine failures. Buying winning engines and tuneing them into less than stock power. Bent rods, broken cranks, wrong cam choices and haveing to get your valvetrain and cams from someone else.
