Side by Sides

Probably not bad, but when it does go bad, where do you get parts??? Who works on them??? I know the price point makes it attractive, but my general rule of thumb is I dont buy anything with a gas engine from a place that doesnt have a parts and service department.

I wouldn't buy anything Chink. Have a gokart from there....constant repair. Far from quality anything!!

Like most all of the glorified A$$/Golf carts available anywhere they are priced double and up what I paid for my first NEW fully outfitted 3/4ton pickup And they can't do anything except haul around fat lazy A$$ES. Spend a few hundred and get yourself an Army Jeep that will last just about forever, and go almost anywhere as well as be street legal if you want. The economy is just terrible when people are lining up to pay 10K for a glorified golf cart.     

Yeah I don't think I'd buy one, but somebody must be buying them. Think you can get a Kawasaki mule for about the same price? Thanks

Had a little Kawasaki mule 610 for a time at my in-laws farm when we were there. It was awesome. Only problem I had with it was no doors/cab for when it rains and the bed wasn't big enough for what I need at our place. As far as the machine itself, I'd buy another one today if it wasn't for the issues I named.

As far as the mini trucks go, there's a guy in Mineral Bluff GA that has several to choose from and there's a place in Mt Airy I believe that sells them. Ours is a 660cc snow mobile engine and a 5 speed transmission. Decent heater. You can get them with A/C and our next one will have but we're going to wear this one out first. Been using it on the farm now for going on 3 years with NO issues at all. There's a few places around where you can buy new ones and their priced very comparable to the Kubota 1100

Now that I think about it , I believe the Coleman were battery powered and the other ones were gas . Thanks !

I have a Kubota RTV that I've found to be quite handy! It only goes 25mph with a tail wind and that's fast enough for me, I'm not 16 ! The RTV has raked hay,frost seeded clover,hauled firewood and drove the grandkids around the farm. Is there faster side by sides or one's with more options? Yes,but for me the RTV fits me and my operation.

This is what we use on our farm.  "72 Land Rover . Goes anywhere, has a winch if needed. also has hard and soft tops and can drive it to town!  Oh, has a heater too.

I use the D15 to travel about the farm, it operates cheap and my insurance agent doesn't get all googly eyed over the additional premium for a RV. When renter comes to visit and wants to show me something we take his Kawasaki. it's 10+ yr old, third set tires, had to have shift in trans redone a couple years ago. He uses it to spray fences and waterways and to scout crops.

I’ve used a tractor for fencing before. Many times. If you have more than 1 post to set, it’s a must, and if many posts then a wagon behind. But nothing beats a quad or I would say a side by side (never had one) for fence checking and quick repairs.
