Lowe's had 8 sitting in front of the store today. Think half were Coleman and the others were Axis? something. Seems everyone has them now. Not cheap at about $10,000 . Wonder if they're any good? Thanks

Probably not bad, but when it does go bad, where do you get parts??? Who works on them??? I know the price point makes it attractive, but my general rule of thumb is I dont buy anything with a gas engine from a place that doesnt have a parts and service department.

I have a Honda Pioneer 1000-5. Was it expensive, yes, but I have the Honda name behind it and a servicing dealership

I wouldn't buy anything Chink. Have a gokart from there....constant repair. Far from quality anything!!

We bought a Suzuki Carry mini truck instead of a side by side for our farm. By far a better idea I think. It was cheaper, parts are available, hauls more, goes faster. Ours is strictly for work around the farm so if you're looking for something recreational as well as a work horse then it might not be what you want.

Like most all of the glorified A$$/Golf carts available anywhere they are priced double and up what I paid for my first NEW fully outfitted 3/4ton pickup And they can't do anything except haul around fat lazy A$$ES. Spend a few hundred and get yourself an Army Jeep that will last just about forever, and go almost anywhere as well as be street legal if you want. The economy is just terrible when people are lining up to pay 10K for a glorified golf cart.

Go with what Tyler recommended or with a brand name like Kubota, Honda, Polaris, Kawasaki, etc. Dealer service and parts availability are very important. You should have some good dealers in your area, if not Palmer Equipment just up the road in Washington, GA is a Kubota dealer. They are good folks to deal with.

Yeah I don't think I'd buy one, but somebody must be buying them. Think you can get a Kawasaki mule for about the same price? Thanks

Our Lowes have those out front as well. They're battery powered (pretty sure).  Started at $10k and there now down $1k to $1,200k less.  No one buying them.
I priced a Kawasaki Mule about 4 years ago at $8k (they're more now) and they were gas powered.

Had a little Kawasaki mule 610 for a time at my in-laws farm when we were there. It was awesome. Only problem I had with it was no doors/cab for when it rains and the bed wasn't big enough for what I need at our place. As far as the machine itself, I'd buy another one today if it wasn't for the issues I named.

As far as the mini trucks go, there's a guy in Mineral Bluff GA that has several to choose from and there's a place in Mt Airy I believe that sells them. Ours is a 660cc snow mobile engine and a 5 speed transmission. Decent heater. You can get them with A/C and our next one will have but we're going to wear this one out first. Been using it on the farm now for going on 3 years with NO issues at all. There's a few places around where you can buy new ones and their priced very comparable to the Kubota 1100

My neighbor has a Suzuki 4x4 mini truck . He loves it .He has a little snow plow he takes on and off it . He says it has heat and a radio. He likes to take it on those side x side by drives that are becoming more common in the area . Keeps him and his wife out of the weather. I have been looking at them and the decent ones bring an arm and a leg.
I have a kubota 500 . Slow but will go anywhere I want to

I have a Kubota RTV that I've found to be quite handy! It only goes 25mph with a tail wind and that's fast enough for me, I'm not 16 ! The RTV has raked hay, frost seeded clover, hauled firewood and drove the grandkids around the farm. Is there faster side by sides or one's with more options? Yes,but for me the RTV fits me and my operation.

Today I picked up a couple things at Home Depot . They had 1 side by side out front . Not sure of the brand but it was marked $9,999 . Pretty sure Tractor Supply also sells side by sides . Guess people buy them to drive around their neighborhood ? Seems kind of crazy to me . Thanks

I use the D15 to travel about the farm, it operates cheap and my insurance agent doesn't get all googly eyed over the additional premium for a RV. When renter comes to visit and wants to show me something we take his Kawasaki. it's 10+ yr old, third set tires, had to have shift in trans redone a couple years ago. He uses it to spray fences and waterways and to scout crops.

Multi strand copper wire from Chinkitown is as fragile as Doktor Jill's license to practice medicine. Start looking at terminals when your machine lays down in the trail and starts puking up it's Chop Suey.

I’ve used a tractor for fencing before. Many times. If you have more than 1 post to set, it’s a must, and if many posts then a wagon behind. But nothing beats a quad or I would say a side by side (never had one) for fence checking and quick repairs.

Yep side by sides or 4 wheels are all WAY TO EXPENCIVE. But for what I do and the terrain I do it on as side by side is cheap. A SxS is a very good medium between to big to fit and to narrow for stability on a sidehill. I just cannot walk all that good on uneven ground, and everything hurts when I do.

we've used them EZ-GO golf cart type trucks with the dump boxes on the farm for years, they are o-k in nice dry waether, any snow/rain/mud is when they suck. I have one with an electric dump box and one with a cab. been looking for one of them little JAP mini trucks lately with a dump box. I see alot of them china ATV's on auctions all the time.
