It seems to me that for the last 20 years or so, replacement finger guard quality has really gone downhill. My brother likes to dabble in 3D printing, so we decided to print some new ones out of all the different materials he had on hand. We ended up with 11 different types of material. I am going to bolt them on a header or the beater of my L2 and see what holds up.

In the shed- 7020,7060, L2 X (2), CII, WD X (2), 200, 210, 611H, 440, Fiat Allis 345B

Could you make the dash broad for a 7000 and 8000 series?

The orange or red finger guides would look so cool spinning around the auger. Best of luck

I 3D printed the series 3 tear drop reel bushings out of nylon 3 years ago for the 313 and 316 heads we have. Still tight as the day they were installed. Also the header height sensor plastic pieces out of PETG.

For the auger beater bushings something with high impact resistance would be best like a high durometer TPU. Shore 90D or higher.

Here are my designs on thingiverse.
