Gleaner A parts from other models?

Both K&F unloading augers are 10” diameter. Get the whole unloading auger from parts machine. Probably need to measure the A’s grain tank section auger~ is that what you mean by “base part”Thinking an A might be closer to a K’s?? If not, then get an F’s & cut it down for length. Either way~ Guessing it may be easiest to shorten unloading auger drive end versus pivot/bushing/yoke end??? Drive end consist of a threaded short male stub shaft where the drive sheave mounts. So if a replacement grain tank auger section is too long, cut off its driven female threaded receptacle, then cut away needed flighting/shaft (hollow pipe?) to desired length, then re-weld female threaded receptacle into flighting pipe. That would allow pivot/bushing/yoke end to reside inside its original pivot discharge housing for easier exterior grain tank mounting.

A few weeks too late. I had about 500 pounds or more of NOS gleaner parts that I decided had been in my way too long, I sent them to China. Your in Va. I'm in Md. and if you had come got them, I would have given them to you. I have no idea of how much would have worked on a Gleaner model A.
