Workin on a M/S TXS #67(IIRC) on a Moline U, I put in a new needle and seat,, set the float at 1/4" like the structions say,,well,, floods really bad..runs, but lotsa black smoke, gas running out of the ai cleaner inlet..
Well, change back to the 'old' needle an seat,it runs really good,no 'flood' kind of exhaust smoke, it even sounds better,, no gas running out,, but hafta run about 1/2 choke to run at hi idle....☹️ tell me not gettin enough fuel..I do have good flow with the bowl plug removed. Jus venting mostly,, I'll figure it out...😡 The one on the rear of the trailer is the culprit.. ![]() |
