I recently purchased a 1964 D17 and live in MN. I would like to put a cab on it for the winter months and found a nice Year-A-Round that was taken off of a 190XT. Before purchasing, I wanted to verify that this would fit on a D17. Any insight would be helpful. Thanks!

NO. Not only won't fit, it is probably too short for height if you do try and butcher it onto a D-17. Not knowing how skilled of a fabricator you are, there is no way it will fit as-is. Can you fit a saddle on a sow ?? maybe.......

I wasn’t too confident it would and if it required a lot of modifications I would’ve probably passed. Not looking to butcher the D17 even a little bit. It’s too nice for that.
Thanks for the reply! |

I've only seen a couple picture ever of cabs made for a D17. I heat houser would be your best bet.

This cab would fit your D17. Don’t know where you would find one though |

I have seen pictures of two D 17's with Full Vision cabs on them. I thought they looked pretty good. But the way the door opens doesn't leave much room for getting in or out. Tim
