Had a guy wondering if it was possible to convert a pre snapcoupler subsoiler to fit a snapcoupler tractor.(take a eye off a plow and bolt it to the subsoiler).  I told him the only thing that worries me is if the length of the subsoiler  would be to long.  Did not know if anyone on here has ever messed with converting one?

Mine was a pin hitch, I think.  It is not made like the drawbar mounted subsoilers.  The lift arms are made to bolt to the lift arms on the tractor.  After seeing the pictures of the 3 bottom plow flipped upside down on the seat, I am not so sure it is a good idea to bolt lift arms on!

Adam, The bolted lift arms are OK with a pin hitch, unless the pin breaks.

Back to the original ? , assuming it is a pin hitch presently, yes it will work if it is switched to an eye and has the pin arms put on for lift latches.
