I think Cummins bought out Onan. Check one of their shops. I got some parts couple years ago.

I go to onan parts.com and price what I can before I go to my local Cummins dealer. They are usually very close. Then I'm not shocked at the price when the salesman doesn't bat an eye and says that'll be $$$$ for a few parts I can put in my pants pocket and walk out the door with.

I have a CCKA I need to rebuild in a Gravely 816 garden tractor. $90 for a gasket kit, $240 for two pistons, plus another $60 for rings and however much for the machine work... and who knows what valve parts and bearings I'll need. I guess I'm used to Kohler and Honda parts prices.

There's a web site www.onanparts.com that has a lot of what you need. At one time they had complete kits in the $1200 range. I've also seen a seller on evilbay that offers reman short blocks for them in the $1200-$1400 range.
