After not being used for a while, my series I 190XT diesel needs ether to get it going. Once it has been running, it will start no problem. I have not checked the fuel lines yet. Just wondering if it could be a weak injector pump, or low compression in the engine. Any other ideas?
Also, the rear axle seal is leaking pretty good on the right side (oil drips on the rim). Can it be replaced without removing the cast wheel center? It doesn't sound like it will be easy! But I welcome any ideas that you may have. Thanks!

Not sure about the fuel pump, but the axle seal requires the removal of the cast center from the axle. Not too bad if the wedge is not stuck and you have pusher bolts.

the next time you try to start it, Pump up the primer pump first to see if that helps. If that helps then you need a new primer pump kit. Agco part # 74063231
