May have a chance to buy a 200 allis my dad bought new in early 70's wondering if you could add the 1000/540 pro shaft to it was a 540 originally doesn't have hydraulic pto just the big lever to the left of the seat

Sure, it can be done, but might be more expensive than you think. You've got to buy a complete lift arm housing with the dual-speed shaft for starters. After that, you'll have to drop off the PTO clutch box and swap out the two internal gears, and those might be hard to find for your manual PTO set-up.

Did they make dual pto without the hydraulic engagement I know on the hydraulic ones they still have the coupler in the pd housing

I think it was probably only offered as the 540/1000 hydraulic clutch style. But, that only means you need to find the 1000 RPM gears for a non-clutch PTO up in the PTO clutch box to make it work. All 540/1000 units are 1000 RPM on the front end of things.

They did make it with a manual 540/1000 l had one here. We parted it out. Sold the 540/1000 to Leon B. He is on this website a lot.
