Yes, it is advertised on pulloff. It is a good running tractor. Very popular class in my area. If it sells i would like to build a light limited super. If it doesn't it won't hurt my feelings. I'm having a lot of fun with this one

Maybe it's just two tough tracks, but I'm used to spinning things out instead of run-and-snuff. Need a gear between 7th and 8th ?? or lower the drawbar an inch ??

It could use a gear just a little slower than 8th. I have tried things like lowering the drawbar and tossing weight on the ground. Seems like you just lose your speed sooner and it doesn't get it any farther down the track. 7th in that tractor is 27/1 and it will light the tires like a buzz saw but it will be 10-20 foot short of the same pass in in 8th gear. The way the motor is set up currently it doesn't lug the best but seems to make up for it in the top end and holds the speed down the track better than most tractors in the class. I'll have to look in the results but if i remember right those videos are both 3rd place finishes in a class of 12-15 tractors

What does the tractor weigh in the videos, and what weight classes do you pull in?

We pull a 180 @ 6,700 lb. and we are running road gear and spin out on a good clay track. We have only 1 pull per month and there are 3 tractors. Ford 7000 4 cylinder and a 1655 Oliver. We put about 25 + feet on the Oliver. The tractor has really been a good runner, we are out to 360 cui, Allis 301 block.

What size tires do you run? Do you have an A pump or a P pump?

Running a A pump but will probably go to a P pump this winter. We currently have a set of 24.5 X 32 Firestone single cuts and hope the club will vote in double cuts.
