655 is update of the HD4 machine , seems a little high on price but ? AC 2200 Nat asp engine, 3 speed trany with fwd-rev clutch pack and torque converter. 655 should be pedal steer rather than lever steer.
As far ad hoe on the machine I had on on my HD4 and still have the hoe
AC 615 hoe , 14' dig , Cessna hyd rotary piston swing, 24" bucket. (which i would sell)
I found i went trough 3 axles, 1 bull gear, on input shaft gear (upper drive gear) had to machine case on both sides from load from hoe putting to much stress on rear case on bearing races.
Without counterweight machine was to light in back and would walk on front idler with loaded bucket, with hoe on machine and empty bucket it walked on rear sprockets, weight transfer was real bad ..
