Hi, Changed left rear axle housing oil seal . Reassembld and lowered and leak worse then before. Raised up and noticed some play in the axle. I think the bearing might be bad. Any ideas on changing the bearing without removing the complete rear housing? Any suggestions would be welcome.
I have never taken anything like this apart before. Thank you Neil

"Oil seal replacement rear axle(HINOMOTO E16)ENGINE:S110" https://youtu.be/119iFCg6Oxksi=_XxN9aBey7cqjIwL This video is about a Hinomoto E16. ( Your Allis Chalmers 5015 is a Hinomoto E18 w/ orange paint. ) To remove bearing ( as is glimpsed in Vid ), you must destroy it. Drive a Pointed Punch between the outside bearing race and the axle housing in order to "fold it up". Are you ready ? Then . . . Grit Teeth and Begin ! ( Have no mercy . . . ) Edited by Pferdestärke23 - 25 Jan 2025 at 12:16am |
