I put a 1061 from k&m manufacturing at tractor seats.com in mine but that might be more than you want ti spend. Somebody had a nice looking seat i think frim vevor on the firum a while back but it was just the seat in a 7000 series. My finger must be one sided. It hits the i instead of o

If you are looking for just the seat this is what I put in my 7000.

If you google Vevor universal forklift seat it should pop up, looks like the price is around $200 currently. It has adjustment on the backrest and the armrests, and it comes with a headrest that I haven't put on because the tractor is mostly used for baling. It also has a seatbelt.
The one thing I did that I don't like is I left the slide rails on it and it adds a little more height than I like. I plan to remove them, just haven't done it yet. I haven't had a lot of time in it yet but have no complaints so far.

Thanks, I was looking at that seat and thought maybe it was pretty low quality. I might just try that seat and see how it works out. Cloth seats seem to wear out pretty fast from sliding in and out of them.

Here is a link to a Thread on this Forum regarding sourcing a replacement for the original seat on a AC 210, the black seat with the fold down arm rests

Perhaps the Marathon Seat(supplied to AC factory for 185, 200, 7000 and 8000 tractors by Milsco, Milwaukee Seat Co) would meet your needs. Thread has link to the supplier. A and W Tractor, excellent AC parts website

Good luck with your project

I'll start off by saying I only have been in it a total of maybe ten hours so far, but I don't have any complaints other than the height, which I plan to correct. I have to set my seat suspension soft to get my feet comfortably on the cab floor, so it bottoms out occasionally. That is not the fault of the seat but can be blamed on the installer. Maybe I lucked out and got the only good one out of the run, I don't know. It is a lower priced seat, so I won't be surprised if the foam starts to break down early, but I thought it would be worth a try. I only put 50-60 hours a year on this tractor, so I should get several years out of it.

I ordered the vevor seat, I think it will be fine. I’m trying to save some money so I can buy the headliner and interior foam kit. I wish it was all black but it’ll be ok for now. The orange segments just don’t seem symmetrical with the saddle tan interior. But I’m sure it’ll be fine, nothing gained nothing lost.

Silvershoes, did you try pricing a restoration of the 8030s OEM seat at a local upholstery shop?

No I did not. I had it redone once already. I will probably keep the seat and take it in to get it redone to put in another tractor.

I don't know about in your area, but the guys that do reupholstery in our area are ridiculous in price. We inquired about having the couch for our RV done and the quote was $1500.
He had a set of boat seats he was working on. I would hate to see the bill on them.
