How nasty of a job is it to get the drag links off, and bushings out? Any pointers are welcome.

Wish mine was that easy. I had to take a chisel and cut the groove vertically to get mine out. I guess after almost 50 years they had rusted in there even though Grease was abundant. Once i made the slot bigger were the 2 ends of the bushing came together I used a long flat screwdriver to get under the bushing to pry it out. Hope yours goes better. It really shouldn't be a hard job, but mine was very agrevating

The last one I removed, I ended up splitting it to get it off and replaced it with a new one. If I remember correctly, that is how the service manual says to do it. I pulled one before and it took me the better part of a day to get it off.

Got one side apart tonight, I believe it is the worst worn. Looks like I will need a spindle and knee. Anyone have any experience with aftermarket, A&I or Abilene machine as to the quality of the parts or should I be looking for salvage parts? Thanks
