Thank you

I have not.  Hope i never have a reason to.

Old NH Cummins manifolds were as that. Rings did not wear, just a seal for the slip joint as parts heated up and moved around.

Those joints are a "slip fit". To assemble you squeeze them together and slid one manifold section into the other. to take apart you just pull the sections apart.

I travel the country quite a bit for my work. This coming year when I am in your state, we will talk about letting in to see the collection. I would love that Rick.

Machine is a early model with the Buddha it is a hundred percent complete motor probably stuck, has a cable blade, it is a DC model with a torque, next time I'm up there I will get some pictures, may end up bringing it it home myself as I believe it could probably be a runner with some work definitely a lot of parts, I just have a lot going and several machines already on my agenda

I can get more pics if your still interested, iv decided that it will do you more good than me so why not help you out. You can pm me to discuss if you wish.

Would be similar to the old Detroit style mufflers. Horizontal with multiple inlets and one BIG outlet.

This might be a difficult solution but, ...
A couple of years ago I was going to make a custom exhaust system for car. A local company said they could waterjet cut a 3/8" thick steel flange for the header pipes.
I was going to use a tube bender and have the local welding shop make the pipes and weld them to the flange. Quoted cost of the one-off waterjet flange was "less than a hundred dollars".
The welder would charge about $250.00

P.S. Somewhere on Youtube there is a video of a guy making a simple custom exhaust for an International dozer. He took a big steel pipe and made a "log" runner style exhaust.

Agreed.

My HD16DC has an engine number of 4393hdc. My same 3 sections of exhaust manifold with parts numbers from my owners parts manual that came with the machine, are different than those listed by our good friend gem dozer.

Just a reminder: Just because a number is cast into a part doesn't mean that is the part number, it could be just a "casting" number and the actual part number could be something else.
AC would sometimes use the same casting for different multiple parts.
