My favorite doctor always insisted I take something similar. It was sure fowl tasting stuff, but if it tastes good it can't be good for you. Unless its Honey.

Our winter temps can swing wildly, 60 or 70 days/high 40s at night then bam, 30/40 degree days with 20's at night or teens with wind chill.
I keep 50 mg Zinc on hand and take one/day along with 2 each Echinacea 760 mg night and morning when we swing on temps as even 30 minutes total outside feeding cattle is enough to bring you down. If I feel even the slightest headache or run down before going to bed during these weather cycles, one Cold-Eze lozenge seems to keep it at bay even though taking Zinc/Echinacia as above as the zinc in Cold-Eze gives an extra kick. If I remember to follow the above, no colds thru the winter for me for last 5 years. The Cold-Eze is also good when out and about in any winter weather as being around people you never know what you'll pick up. I definitely use the sanitary wipes at Wally World as they have a station when you walk in and get your cart. Keep the Cold-Eze in the truck and car as they say the key is to "catch it early". Knock on wood . . . .
