I saw this on my local Craigslist....Tractor Bob advertises a lot on the radio, and I thought this ad was neat. Has a couple good messages in the photos.
Apparently Yanmar sells a 3pt hitch baler that makes Roto-Bales. Ad even says thery're string tied and don't require remote hydraulics. Cool!

I don't think it'd be hard to make a 4ft wide windrow,I like it.What I'd really go for is
a small grain harvester on about that scale that's simple and no an AC 40 ain't simple I've run those. |

several companies make those balers, pull type, lower 3-pt arm pulling, and full 3-pt models, some even do the wrap thing. they were originaly designed to bale pine needles for the landscape industry.

I'm just guessing but I doubt you could make a 4 ft windrow without plugging the baler. Bet it would be pretty slow in first cut.

I think it's a neat concept, but would I want one personally? Probably not. Like was stated, it would be easier to belt up a Roto-baler, rake up a big double windrow, and go bale.

Saw one of the pine straw balers at the Sun Belt Expo in Moultrie, Ga today, wasn't real impressed and I didn't ask how much it sold for.
