looking to buy a used ( any condition) Snap  Coupler adaptor for a D-17 - WD-45. I posted last week in a search for multiple parts and I did not make very clear what I'm looking for. It's not  to adapt the tractor to 3 point hitch, but to adapt a 3-point hitch implement to be used on a snap coupler tractor, There appear to be a variety of different OEM variations and as best as I can tell, they do not have model numbers on the complete assemblies. I could use any of the OEM variations.
Would love to pick one up at the MO swap meet.
see picture below for one of the variations.

I’m not sure they made one. In the 50 &60s equip manufacturers like new idea offered the  different hitches. Like allis chalmers snap coupler or international fast hitch. We have a new idea transplanter with snap coupler hitch. And the parts book lists all the different hitches you could have ordered for it.
I suppose you could mount the beam with the snap coupler eye and lift brackets.

Of the adapters Allis charmers made, There were 2 versions. The large one had Cat II hitch balls and was longer to be use with WD, D14 and larger tractors. The smaller version had Cat I hitch balls and was shorter for the CA, D10/12 tractors.
Allis Chalmers also made a few different adapter that bolted to an implement and remained on the implement.
If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY

I have a couple of them like in the picture.  Leave one full time on a three point blade.  The other for a spare (not for sale).  Have the blade on the '45 right now, so could get a picture if interested.  Dave
