Ten Amendments, Ten Commandments, and one Golden Rule solve most every problem. Citrus hand-cleaner with Pumice does the rest.

After doing a few of these over the years, I have never once used a pump larger than 10 GPM. This is based off of the wildly popular series 4 D-17 which was actually 12 GPM at full throttle and more GPM than a 50 HP tractor usually needed. Special projects may be different, but if a series 4 was ALWAYS plenty, most users will be happy doing nearly the same thing. I have also never seen the need for a separate oil tank. The existing sump can easily be tapped into to get oil from the tractor and return the same oil thru a filter. The sump capacity is more than adequate, especially when using 2-way cylinders. There is no oil overheating. There are no problems. There are no tanks to build to take up extra space.

We have front pump mounting kits for D14/15/17 available for purchase. You can use your own pump with SAE 'A' mounting or we have 9.5GPM or 14GPM bolt on pumps available too!
