Want to buy a good shape 6-7 foot SC or 3 point AC disc. I prefer a heavier model that will cut well. Thanks Tracy

Tracy, here is a picture of my SC #109 disc. I enjoy it but it's not really heavy enough to cut much in dry, hard cornstalk ground. It does okay in the spring in soft dirt or in soybean stubble that's been softened up by a little rain. If you're looking for something that will cut, I think you need to look at a 200 series or possibly newer. A 2100 series is the last of the mounted disc harrows made by AC. Good luck in your search.

Brian, I have a 109 disc myself. It cuts as you say. It is too wide to go between some rows in garden at times when I want to disc up and replant new veggies. It cuts good enough for that , just to wide. My wheel discs are a pain to manuver inside the gulag! Thanks tracy
