i have a 78 m2 short shoe gleaner and want to do a shoe swap with an m3- they should all be long shoe machines
 
 
could somebody with a parts book tell me if the pitmans for each are the same- somebody has told me you need to change them for a swap

Yes you will need the all front pitmans and front hanger the rear hangers are  the same
