So far, it looks like the 8070 may have been the deal of the week, unless something was major wrong, it looked awful good on that trailer.

The 8070 was in decent shape. Pretty sure it was repainted, new decals for sure. Had a busted window at some point, cab interior looked to be in decent shape. The serial was in the 13xx's. Even with the pto broke, I think it was a good buy. The real good buy was the 2007 Case 275 for $48,000.

The One Eighty went cheap 3100 bucks,,, the grille looked rough in the pics , may have been a quickie paint job? Also see Wheeler charges a 2% premium,,, wtf,,, wonder what the congsigment and the no sale  rates are?

I would have loved to have been there but had other commitments. I hope the prices were good; I'm not up to date on the newer stuff so can't really gauge.

That 180 was rode hard and put away wet.   100 foot quicky paint job...I think it was priced fair.   The fairly straight looking 7010 (PD with only a 16 speed from what I saw) with about 3600 hours and new tires went for 7400 but they could not get it started which kept me from bidding...more tractor than I NEED right now anyway, lol.   I left not long after the 7010 but Terry G was waiting for the D21 Series I which look to sell near the very last.

The F2 went for 4000, not 4100 and will be coming home with ME!  Tongue  Very nice Corn Plus with 313 flex head, air conditioning, hydraulic auger, chopper, side hill blower (not installed).  Included corn and bean chaffers plus a cover screen.   It is VERY nice and well maintained.  It only showed 9xx separator hours but I talked to the owner and he wasn't sure that was right and if the hobbs meters still worked.  But the cab is in great shape so it hasn't had a huge number of hours of wear.  They did do 18 acres of beans with it this fall. The bit of trash on the walkers/screens showed it and proved it really was "field ready".  201-4 cylinder turbo diesel engine started and ran great.   Is a gear drive, not a hydro but for me not a negative as I don't have to worry about expensive hydro repairs and I'm used to the standard variable with my EIII.  I only row crop 52 acres so a big upgrade for me.

I got to talk to David (the main man!), Randy, Charles, JW, Terry G & his son, Rick Maldeney, Dale Bauer & his son, Richard, Danny, Joe O and I can't remember who else????   It was a good if windy and bit cold day.   Mike

Oh and the WC cane loader was Randy's and didn't sell as he had a 3K reserve on it?   A 170 gas with an Allis loader, 5K hours went for 3750 if I remember right.   Only other thing I bid on was a 10 foot cutter but I stopped at 1K and it went for 1400, had to save my pennies for the Gleaner, lol.   Mike

Someone got a deal. I hope they'll fix it up. The duals were probably worth $150-$200 with the tires. I intentionally didn't bring the trailer because I figured I'd end up with it but don't need anymore projects.

Some went cheap, others didn't, and some brought their value.A few looked to have been customized. Just about all were Ertl. The 8070 fwa toy went for $90, ive seen the same toy sell for $270 at another auction.

These sorts of auctions aren't very representative of true toy values on the open market. I have seen a WD45 with a wagon bring $500 at an auction. That's just stupid. Its a $50 toy at a show or on eBay. A toy collector buddy of mine was there and we thought the toys ALL sold for at least retail (ebay/toy show price) if not a tad higher. We go to the St.Louis show annually and he goes to Dyersville every year and sells on eBay. A lot of the customized ones were scratched/ chipped badly and needed to be repainted. The Massey toys all sold pretty high.

I was the person who purchased the sign. I was hoping to spend 3-4 K, but wound up spending 5. Oh well, I wanted it, drove 4.5 hours to get there, and would've spent whatever ever to bring it home. I know some people aren't happy with the price. I am not at all bothered by what I paid. It's not worth $5000.00 to me...it's priceless. It will never be for sale again in my lifetime. I'll post pictures when I have it hung up in my shop.

That's what it's all about McAllis, if ya got a big pocket book it doesn't matter. Reminds me of what an old man said years ago about buying ground. It doesn't matter what you pay for it, if you got the money to pay for it. Pretty wise words.

I have to agree McAllis, if you have the money, doesn't really matter what others say.  That is what an auction is, highest bidder wins.

I know that frustrates others some times, but such is life.

By The Way, welcome to the forum.
