Here are 2 from my neck of the woods ; Bockting Farm Equipment Morrison Mo , still Agco parts they sold alot of AC tractors in the day ; alot of very good AC knowlege done there ; Weber Equipment Company ; former AC dealership in Westphailia Mo; now Donald Equipment , John Deere tractors etc ;;;;; also Honse Implement in Vienna Mo was an AC parts outlet , i think they may have been hooked up with Bockting on tractor sales , but never had a formal dealership

Post them on the map. It's an interactive map for people to add it. I don't have enough hours in the day to keep up with it. lol So I am opening it up for everyone.

I added Sigman's from Logansport, IN
Claussens from Rensselaer, IN
Dealership in Winamac, IN of unknown name

I don't what the Winamac dealership was called, but I know a guy that used to be a mechanic there tell me stories about it. He said sometime in the 70's or 80's they had a bunch of all-crop harvestor trade in that no one wanted so they finally dug a big hole and buried them all.

Here's a thread from a couple years ago that has a bunch of dealers listed.

Are any of these places open yet? Or do you know of an exact location? Otherwise I will just have to place a mark in the towns where they were.

They are all closed . I don"t know of any Agco or any other active dealer that is near me. Davis tractor in Philladelphia Tn is the only one that is still open and I don't know if they are selling any new products now. (If Mark east tn )sees this he can answer . Kincheloe changed to a case dealer when Neil supply got it in early 60"s ,Henard quit selling in the lmid to late 50's and russell in Greenville changed hands a few times and was a simplicity dealer when it closed about 5 or 6 years ago. I have the signs from Rogersville and Greenville and Cleaned up after the varmits at the Case dealer in Kingsport with no Allis stuff to be found. If I can think of anything else I will post or try the magic box at home. I think this is a great idea, sorry I can't edit it at work. Scott

PS. I have one more in Nicholsville VA and I am waiting on a call from his son to get the correct info, I do know he is still using AC.

If it makes you feel better, I think there was a JD dealer around here that had a back lot full of A's & B's they took on trade. I think they are all under the new parking lot now.

Not sure why but it would not permit me to add, so
Lemasters, Pa Alvey Etter   closed late 1950's
Waynesboro, Pa  Blue Ridge Fruit Exchange
Waynesboro, Pa  B. Equip,Inc,   still open Gleaner combines, MF tractors
Hustontown, Pa Miller's Garage, sold out to Brandt's in late 1950's
McConnellsburg, Pa Frank Johnston   not sure when he stopped handling machinery
Marion, Pa     A R Statler Body Works  as best as I can remember they stopped handling AC around 1976 or so.
Fred probably knew all of these

Then he said,"are you Interested in a 7060"? like new.I said may-be then I seen my dream come true!! A brand new 7060 The last tractor he purchase when he droped his ac contract He kept it inside for years taking it to shows.I ask to sit in it and it still smelled like new 64 hours it read.right there I wanted to sell my house and wife to buy.He said it was for sale.but I had to leave with tears in my eyes. He had a nice I-40,a 40 pull type combine, and some new old stock equimpment nicely stored away.I will be back soon!Had great time. And if harry is reading this and need's sombody to will it to I'll accept!!!!! Are you looking strictly Allis Chalmers dealerships or AGCO also?  I see that your map has a Kubota dealer on it for our area, which is not correct!  I'll try to get my Dad's old dealership building noted on the map when I have more time.  Great idea!

I started a thread a day or so go pertaining to this. I guess I should have looked before I posted my thread lol.

I like to go on google maps and see the old dealership buildings. I would like to build a storage building for my tractors someday and model after a 50's-60's style dealership.

Probably never happen but a guy can dream............
