Doug, try to shrink the photo to about 800 x 600 pixels to better fit the screen...

nothing really special, looks like a bosch or cav injector for a 230 like a WD45D.

Seller is Phishing to see if what he found is worth any money or what someone decided to lie to them as to value.

Saw it for a Cummins WP new in Box only the box was crumbling, an old Eccentric unit that can still be rebuilt using simple parts for less than $50, guy 'Found' his treasure in a old garage inventory was asking $1000, know the buyer, got it for $165

heard long time ago that if you have an Ebay 'store', you have to have xx # of items at all times or you lose 'status' and 'perks', so guys will put obscene prices on a few items to keep their 'store' , open for business.

problem is, you never know when someone is desperate enough to buy it now! I buy some parts on occasion from rock valley, but I deal directly with them and usually buy multiple items ending up with a lower cost in the process.

Looking at the nozzle body it most likely came from a D 175 or a D 262 series engine. The entire injector assembly was manufactured at the Harvey Engine plant.

"Special" did it ride the "short bus" to the parts depot?
If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY

This one is a robert bosch or cav . The AC injectors like in a D17/19 are more rounded off under the ears where they bolt in. The flats on the sides are also a giveaway. These are pre D17, which is why I said WD45D. Wil they interchange? Sure they will. I have a few of both styles in my core bank.
