I've been trying to decide what to replace the 7060 with other than an 8050 or 8070. So far CNH early Magnums look good, and the dealer is a couple miles away. I kinda like Deere 7800 series but not many used and too high a price. We had an 8600 Ford that was a good tractor (except for the awful cab), so I would consider a bue NH.

I hate to even consider anything else, but if I HAD TO maybe a Kubota for small stuff(chore tractor, loader work). Ford TW for bigger tractor(used to run a TW-40 for my cousin, nice tractor, and very little trouble). Neighbor had a later Ford, right before the sellout. Forget the model. Shuttle shift with a loader. That tractor was nice to run. Would NOT consider a MF. I think my left knee is screwed up today from that POS. I learned how to cuss having to work on that thing all the time! LOL!

I would buy any of the tractors that my uncle has at my grandfathers farm. These include but are not limited to multiple JD 4020's, Multiple Cat 22's, a AC G, and a handful of others. Not to mention the '48 chevy 2 ton that has been in the family since new and been in the barn since the 60's. Thats a long story, but I vow to get some of these things some day.

Probably IH. I really have a soft spot for the '06 Series (espacially the 1206). The 1468 & 1568 with the V8 really getts my pulse racing also! Plus we have a Case IH dealer in town that has been around since the 1920's. They sold trucks and farm equipment up until the 1950's. They have really great parts guys and they have gotten me overhaul kits for a couple of my AC tractors. |

My choice would be, because I am a collector not a user, a J.I. Case "DC" then a "SC". Followed by a Massy Harris "44". Grandpa had all Farmalls and the neighbor ran John Deere, both had good tractors, but who didn't in the 40's and 50's. Really could you wear them out?
