Well,,I knew eventually it was bound to happen,,,,,and now it's my turn,,I guess. I Have no clue what happened but one of the cats that lives in my garage has died in there,,or Hungry done it but none the less,,,it is begining to smell some bad. I had not been in the garage in bout a week or two as I been tending to the wife and her issues. I didn't have the stomach to go lookin for it this PM but gonna have to do something soon. What can you dump on carcass, to help with the smell when I locate it,,???? UGHhhhhh,,,,help,,,,,,,,

rubber gloves and a trash bag. how long can you hold yer breath? otherwise let it be another week or two and most of the smell will drift out.

Fact is,,,one guy was even sellin them melons on his street corner but NOOooo,,,he never said nuttin bout that sob,,,,,!!!! Yep cover it completely with lime and give it one more day. We had a big possum die under a house we were building. The heat and air guys found it. We then had a plumber I tried to send down there after it. He was fighting mad and said he was gonna quit. I cut a hole in the subfloor and covered it with lime. I told my 150 pound helper Pat that I’d lower him down and he could put it in a bag. He said he would lower my fat carcass down there and I could put it in a bag, A couple hrs after the lime treatment I went down and cleaned it up. There was no smell at all. We poured more lime on the spot and all was good.. now that plumber thinks I’m a good guy.😂

If you have to get close to it, do what cops, morticians do. Fill each nostril with Vape O Rub. Does good enough job to keep you from tossing your cookies.

Well Joe, looks like a lot of good advice been given here... but the one about the plastic bag and turnin it inside out is only good till the critter is just a pile of wriggling maggots... an the boys forgot one thing about keepin the smell outta your nostrils... you can put on one of them ol spring loaded clithes pins on yur nose just before enterin... Glad we could help.
