do you use to protect the wires, cap, plugs, switches on your tractors for winter work if they have to sit outside and you want them to start. I use WD40 and a silicon base spray. Is there any other spray you use to keep moisture out from the rain and snow? Is this ok, or is there something better to use? Fred

That is the one and only thing WD40 is good for. Don't use silicone if you think you might want to paint that tractor someday.

Clear krylon is a good insulator and fairly weather proof, but not so hard on future paints as siliconE sprays. Silicon is a metal, doesn't spray nicely.
