Dale Sinclair was the owner and always bought things when they were delievered,so they went off of dealer inventory. I always remember he had a 8550 that was never sold in 1986 ,that would have been at least 5 years old and still new.

Thanks IG, quite a jump for me to go from an E to the L2. The M2 I never got to use and it went to a good home right down the road a mile from me.

I'm probably forgetting something.

  1. Gravely Super Convertible
  2. FORD 4610 II SU
  3. OLIVER 70 Row-Crop
  4. 2000 Ford F250 (It's my papaw's but we use it until we can get a gooseneck ball in the cummins)
  5. 1991 Dodge W150 (had it for about 3 years but it was out for repairs for most of the year and I just got it back AGAIN)
  6. GATORMADE 25+5 gooseneck trailer
  7. 1997 Chevy W/T 1500 V6 5sp.
  8. Not a toy but I got to show my tractor for the first time this year and I'm hooked stronger than ever. Orange Tractor Fever hits hard.

I did the same thing as Glenn, not to buy anything in 2010, I failed also.
I forgot one other item to add to the other 9, a very good original B110 with good deck and front blade plus a factory rear weight which I have been looking for for years.
I am doing very good this year, it is already Jan. 2, 2011 and I have NOT bought anything AC yet.

I didn't expect to acquire as much as I did in 2010 either but a couple of items sort of came to me and were total no-brainers...

1. D17 Series III, sold after my dad passed away in 1997 to a friend of my farming partner.  Was his first AC and he got bit by the orange bug too and decided he had too many orange toys to store so he sold it back to me.  Now it's back home in the family where it belongs.  This was the first tractor I learned to drive as a kid.
2. 172 rotary mower/brush hog (used behind the D17 SIII)
3. 190 mounted picker (will go on the WD45, still have to get the main picker unit)
4. 716 Hydro riding mower

Some items I may get in 2011:
1. Gravity box (around 200 bu)
2. Bumper pull trailer (10K)
3. ????

1963 D17 S-III gas
1956 WD45 gas NF PS

It has to be my 1956 WD-45 Diesel  with a 3 bottom plow. The tractor is in super shape. Good paint and tires with near perfect metal. The grill has NO damage. I'm the third owner.

Charlie; those rear tires sure look good.  They appear to be the normal height, but, is the cross-section a bit larger? and the rear wheel centers a bit smaller? Herb

D Series 4; quite a haul, two highly sought tractors and both appear in nice shape.
Not being famaliar with AC400 loaders, I have to ask.  Is the extra set of hydraulic cylinders with the sliding unloader a standard option, or after market option, or for specific conditions, or what? Herb

A d17 series 4 gas snap coupler.   Found a wide front for it and a loader.   Just got the wide front and loader done yesterday but can't find my cable for my camera so no new pics.   Picked up a unstyled WC with a WD45 block in it and starter bellhousing.   Getting that running is my next project.   Also picked up a D19 gas with a bad clutch.   That will be winter project number 2.

Okay, I'll pile on.

It was a very slow year. I bought one, yes one, tractor. A 1953 WD45 that came with a back blade. Bought it on ebay last january and hauled it home a couple weeks later. I did real good until July when the DW thought I should buy a 40 foot Genie bucket lift. We have used the heck out of it on the farm. No more climbing latters for this old man.

Have a bunch of tractors and some equipment for sale if anyone has a project in mind and wants to start 2011 with a flourish.
