As 2011 is here now. What new toys did you get in 2010.
I was able to get a allis 2300 sprayer, 4-20 inch corn head for a A2, allis chisel plow, allis 390 haybine, allis 18x7 grain drill, allis 480L blower, allis 400 series planter, early allis 77G rake with chain drive, 2 allis 782 choppers, 150 picker.not allis but they did try one out a Hawk Bilt baler. I probably missed something.
Here are a few pics of my new toys

I added a few things to the lineup also this year, though only 2 agco products.
Hardi Navigator 1000 sprayer, did almost 2000 acres with it
John Deere 468 baler, traded 2 yr old wore out 468 for a new one
Hesston 4760 baler, just because I wanted one, but managed to pack almost 10,000 bales through.
Sunflower 21 ft 17 shank chisel plow, now I can make my Steiger grunt a little.
2000 GMC work truck, old farm truck died so I got something decent
John Deere 8120 tractor, big cab, now have room for daycare in cab.
And I probably forgot a few things.
Maybe next year I can trade off some more of my wore out junk and get a few more new toys. I tell the guys that no matter how hard we work, we'll just have better iron to wreck next year. Edited by wi50 - 01 Jan 2011 at 6:05pm |

It was a slow year for me...guess I am getting picky. WD w/nf and an 80S mower w/9' bar on the AC side....MM Jetstar and a Blue G in the "other" category. Forgot the 170D.... ![]() Edited by Eldon (WA) - 01 Jan 2011 at 7:59pm |

An interesting side note on the B. I bought it from a location that was featured on American Pickers.

I hate to think about it, but I watched a chisel plow like that sell at an auction about 10 years ago. It brought like $15 I think. I'm sure it got cut up. :(

My new items for 2010 would be a 3 pt. AC blade,a WD45 wide front tractor with power steering,a 170 and (2) 180 gas tractors. Figured that was enough for one year...don't want the wife to get suspicious! LOL! 2011 is a whole new year though! Rick

Lonn that is a nice looking L2 you have there. Looks just like the one we use to have. 2wd cornplus. Love those L's. Bought it in 1986,it was a 1982 model that had been sitting in a shed for 4 years and never used. It came from Sinclair Imp. in Martinsville ILL. Dale Sinclair was the owner and always bought things when they were delievered,so they went off of dealer inventory. I always remember he had a 8550 that was never sold in 1986 ,that would have been at least 5 years old and still new.

Not much last year. A 1958 D17 gas NF, had a couple gallons of water in the oil pan. Haven't gotten to it yet. 1939 B with the adjustable wishbone front end, needs almost everything. Always looking, not finding, but there already are plenty of AC's around the place to work on.
