I acquired this sickle bar mower with a couple tractors I bought recently. I know nothing about sickle bar mowers. Any idea what model it is and what it fits? I bought it with a D-10, so I'm pretty sure it fits the D-10. What else does it fit? What is it worth?

Nice mower, it's a 80R mower, fits any of the snap coupler tractors with the right brackets

Cut many an acre with one of these. Yep it's an 80 R. We used it on a WD or D17.

The attaching bracket appears to be for the CA, D-10 & D-12 tractors. Looks to be in good condition.....like Mike says it will fit WDs, WD-45s, D-15s and D-17s as well with the right bracketry.

The mower attaches to the tractor via the mower mounting bracket that replaces the draw bar support on the tractor. This is the bracket with the large dia piece with the smaller pins sticking out from the ends. It is lifted up by the snap coupler on the right side of the rear lift arms. If the Mower mounting bracket fits your tractor, you should be good to go. PS; looks to be in good condition, if so, you will enjoy using it.

Yea that's the mower that I also started mowing hay with on our D17. Which both came new through my grandfathers dealership.
There was only one thing that dad stressed to me when using it. Do not put you fingers into the teeth, or blades, or guards when you lift it to fold over to transport possision |
