Now, now Jeff.  Now I confused for sure.  Maybe this belongs in the political area and not the one that actually says "TRUCKS" in the heading.
How about that stock market yesterday?

This should make you Ford guys happy. I pulled a set of 5th wheel rails out of an 05 F250 because the previous owner wanted them back. There were no frame ties, just 1 inch thick back up washers on the under side of the sheetmetal. Either Ford made a really tough box, or the prev owner never hooked much to it.
I agree Ford builds a sturdy truck, but I like GM's styling much better. The Ford Sync/My Touch system is pretty slick. 6.7 diesel? So far so good. My experience is they must be reliable like a Duramax. Have not seen any real failures yet.

Do I feel the love? Can't say that I do. Sounds a little feminine, must be a Subaru thing.

A 3/4 or 1 ton Van. A Van is a good multi use farm truck for our operation both for business and pleasure. Have his and hers vans. Chevys. One, hers, has a duramax under the hood. She lets me use it if I keep the tank full.

I am a hardcore Mopar man. My primary truck is my 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 diesel. I also play around with my old 1991 W150. Hopefully by this time next year I will be looking for or have got a nice first gen Cummins dually 4x4 with a manual transmission.

Until then I have to get a new transmission and torque converter for my white Dodge. I am getting the Goerend brand transmission with the Goerend triple disc torque converter and a lower stall speed.

Well, I've always had a soft spot for Diamond-REO, Euclid, the Kaiser-Jeeps, Marmons, and Autocars... I wouldn't turn down a Brockway, a KB-series IH, or Studebaker heavy-duty.

A Van-Pelt pumper truck chassis with ramps to carry a couple'a WC's would be really fun.

But I guess if I had to choose out a 'regular use', I'd go for a Dodge M37 with a 6BT Cummins and an NVG4500, fitted with Rockwell 2-1/2t axles... a steer and two driven, all fitted with singles and disk brakes... a dump-bed with removable sides and a 5th wheel hitch... and a hydraulic winch up front...

Ford didn't get a bail out, so that tells you something right there. First would be a truck with an AC Purple People Eater motor in it,LOL, than second a Dodge with a cummins diesel, Ford third , and GMC forth.
