Mine is a rehab of the CA that I have been using for the past 4 years as a lawn mower (it has a Woods L306 belly mower). The tin is all off it and the bare frame is in for sandblasting and painting. When it comes back, it will be time to pull the rear wheels and finals to replace the brakes (including a new drum on the left side...and maybe rebuild the drum on the hand clutch), rebuild the hand clutch, new pinion seals and clean/relube the final pans (as well as inspecting and rebuilding the final bearings and the hand clutch actuator as necessary. The rear rims will be sandblasted and painted (and the eccentrics cleaned/lubed with antiseize) while I'm doing the finals. Then it will be on to the front of the tractor to install a new engine clutch, replace the front axle (it currently has a C wide front axle), rebuild the front axle pivot, and new frfont axle bearings. Will also open the engine and inspect it (altho it starts and runs fine; want to check the sleeves, pistons, journals, plastigage/reshim the bearings, and inspect the head and valves). Then on to the outer parts; replace the gages, new 12 volt electrical, replace the Farmall distributor with an Allis distributor and EI, and new head lights. Meanwhile, the tin will be at the body man for prep and paint. If all goes well, expect to have it running well by the time the body man is done with the tin. Finally, install the tin, lights, decals and have it ready to resume her regular job when the grass is green and growing.

Before I can get to my winter projects, I got to finish my fall projects!! One was putting the loader I bought on my D17 IV. I finally got all the brackets on, now all I have to do is throw the wide front on and then hook up the loader. Once that's out of the garage, I have an unstyled WC I want to get running again, and then work on what else it all needs, and a D19 that needs a clutch and then who knows what else after that. Got two wiring harnesses sitting on the shelf for my D15 and my B that hopefully will get installed this winter.

I need to clean up my shop so I have a place to work and can get to the wood stove so I can have some heat. The CA has been patiently waiting(for 3 years) my attention with a bad thrust bearing . I want to build some high display shelves to put the tools and things that came from Dad's garage.

'38 unstyled wc. I'm building one set of fenders out of two and I've got all the welding done now they need blasted and painted. I've also got a g basket case that I'll work on as I find parts. So far it's in one piece minus the motor and rear wheels/tires. I cant wait to find 2 real nice used rear tires and tubes for cheap. HA HA lol.

mine: closing in my attached garage, making an office, laundry room, and familiy room. Allis - related: watching / assisting my dad in getting his WD-45 running. Swapping the NF out of it for a WF. Getting his 3 bottom plow put back together as part of that project too. He's gonna break ground with it this spring, he says. wish us luck. |

Pulling and rebuilding the 283 in my wife's '64 Chevy Impala Convertible. Pulling the transmission and having it rebuilt. Front tranny seal leaking, think it's from various mount bushings being bad as engine doen't even look right setting in there.
Replace wiper motor and find brake leak on 1978 Chevrolet 1 ton dump truck. Does anyone have a wiper motor? Don't use it a whole lot but have a few things I need it for.
Remodel the living room in a lake cottage. Then in the spring it gets a new roof and an 8 x 24 deck then a for sale sign.

Vapor barrier, SOB my shop, get the furnace line in, paint the walls, organize the "merchandise" work alternatively on my ALLIS 720 (paint, decals, a bit of wiring to resolve) a 1946 chevy 2 ton(brakes, king pins, body work, wiring, front tires, etc.), and my Mercury 402 outboard/1976 glastron 14.5 boat(seats, paint, decals, general rehab) and try to meet some of my wifes various and sundry requirements... Not likely to get through 20% of the above named...TREV.
