patriotnationpress.com He Was In A Machine That Prevents Public Peeing, And It Ended In His Death… joe January 30, 2023 Uncategorized 1 A man died after being crushed by a hydraulic telescopic urinal in central London, England, while he was working on the device, the BBC reported. The pop-up toilets are stored underground during the day and are raised to street level at night for people to use, an initiative designed to discourage urination on the street. Watch how the pop-up toilets worked below: The man was working on the underground pop-up lavatory in Cambridge Circus, just yards away from the Palace Theatre, when the accident happened at about 1 pm on Friday. The incident took place outside the Palace Theatre, home to Harry Potter And The Cursed Child. A London Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called today at 1.05pm to reports of an incident on Shaftesbury Avenue, Charing Cross. “We sent a number of resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, members of our hazardous area response team, members of our tactical response unit and a medic in a fast response car. “We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance.” The victim, who had been working below street level, was freed around 3:40 pm by emergency services but was pronounced dead. A crane had to be brought in to try to lift the urinal out of the ground. His identity was not released. About 25 firefighters attended the incident, along with other emergency services such as police, paramedics, and air ambulance workers. The worker was trapped below street level “underneath” the urinal, according to the London Fire Brigade. “We’re sorry to have to update that, despite the efforts of emergency services, the man who was critically injured in Cambridge Circus was pronounced dead at the scene,” Metropolitan Police tweeted. |

That would really suck. Wonder what really happened to cause it to close and crush him. Can remember when in UK in 71 the use of Building corners by men and some odd partitions along curbs by women were typical. In France and Belgium they had the little privys as seen in art works with ads pasted to them where people made deposits along curbs. NOT out of norm for Europeans to just stop and pee where was handy, same in UK then. Do not understand what is fueling the big Hide it as still just gets washed out to rivers and streams.

I have always figured that as many toilets I work on ,I will eventually have a heart attack while working on one and fall over face first into one. Sounds like this guy .

I have a customer who has MD and had to have an elevator installed in his house. It looks very similar to this . On the second floor it comes up out of the floor like that . If I get back there I will get some pictures. Had them on my old phone before the phone crapped out.

I'd have thought with all the 'health and safety' krap(no pun) these days, their would have been 2-3 others there as well as a 6by 6 'blocking bar' to prevent the 'carriage' from lowering. I know here in Ontario they have several 'lock out' procedures for elevators.

i would guess there are some safety sensors for someone INSIDE the unit... It may not expect someone to be UNDER it... Or he might have disabled that during maintenance.
I question how CLEAN they are also.... Most people in public are pigs.

What's that old joke, the euro-toilet requires a passport to use, cause your russian to get in and finnish when you get out. What are you when you are inside? Euro-peeing...

"He Was In A Machine That Prevents Public Peeing, And It Ended In His Death…" That Machine would 'Prevent' public peeing about as much as 'Gun Control' would prevent mass shooting. The Prevention is obtained through the mind of the human. G |

The public toilets in London are all auto wash. You have to put a pound into the slot to get the door to open as soon as you step out the door power closes and the entire interior is flushed clean before the door will open again.

I spent 3+ years in Germany. It was legal to pee outdoors along the roads as long as your back was turned to the passing traffic. I never saw a gal or guy doing it. We drank a whole lot of German beer but always made it to the little room.
