It sure is muddy around here. It goes 1-2 foot deep around the hay rings and is slick as can be. Bout rolled the tractor down a bank when the front wheels lost traction with a 6'x6' bale on the back and the front end slid down the bank. Had to drop the bale drive to the bottom and try to come out at an angle (something you flatlanders luckily don't have to worry with). I tried to snap a few pics but using a cell phone doesn't do justice to how bad the mudd is and we got more rain coming tomorrow night. I also didn't think to take a picture till I got to the driest hay ring on the side of a hill where the water kinda flows away. I actually wish it would freeze again.

I think I will welcome the thaw, we have had everything covered with ice here the last couple days. You can't even walk on it let alone drive on it. It would be nice if the wind let up no matter what the temperature is.

At least both your boots are still on.  Back in Dec, I lost a boot, chasing cows, mud sucked it clean off, I kept goin till I got the gate shut, then it was limp through the snow/mud/crap, to retrieve the boot, then limp up to the shop to change socks!
