I went over to "Yesterday's Tractors" website to see if anyone had made a post about our forum being unavailable. Sure enough six of our crew had posted about it over there. I'm glad they did so I knew it just wasn't me or my computer.
Not to be a tattle-tail, but Steve(ill) threw Lonn under the bus over there... LMAO |

JC I was here. I don't answer the phone when it doesn't show the caller ID. With the whophlungpoo and rioting, I ain't going no where. Last time ya called I recognized your voice when you started leaving a message. Sometimes I don't hear the phone or message machine. Mom only recognizes her 4 calf bellers. Sorry that I missed ya. Maybe Lonn's special gadget got to my caller ID. Hope the weathers as good there as it is here, which really isn't to far away, I didn't get much rain overnite here, but it got plenty hot.

JC I can't program you in,  my phone is just a regular old line and old answer machine attached to it (and you think DJ's frugal).  I've heard worse come over that answering machine speaker. Heck I don't even have long distance access, what starts out to be a few dollars ends up as $20 a month whether you use it or not, and that's not including the cost of the call. I cannot hear on a cell phone. I can turn up the volume on the radio phone attached to my regular phone. I had a lot of ear infections as a kid, and then not much hearing protection in the 70's and early 80's Autobody trade. Now with aging I'm almost deaf. Oh life goes on. Sure am glad the forums back up. I can read you loud an clear

I got rid of our landline cause it was almost $50 a month for it and that was only if no long distance was made! WHEW!!!
JC, if you tried to call me, I bet you got a surprise.... I've been without a phone for 3 weeks now. NO way to tell anyone or anything. I've got NO internet at the farm either, so I was on an island so to speak. Didn't know about the site being down even. And youse guys never even missed me...... Oh yeah, drug another toy home..... it needs a lid for one of the hoppers, so if anyone has a spare.....

Ted, mine with DSL is about $35 a mo. I get some special discounts. Biggest deal for me is being able to hear on it. Hearing aids suck with any thing close to em.

Ted, was just thinking about the what ifs... since the Spectaculer got mothballed... what if I went down to see a Mr. Johnston... Would I have to drive to his farm, or would I have to drive to La Crosse, seeing how he doesn't seem to answer his phone... must be at the farm all the time. Today I got a 715-718-1523 call that I did not pick up on... googled it tonight and even wacked out google can't figure out if it is from Eau-Claire, Stevens Point, or Superior... probably isn't you callin me. oh well. Maybe need to try using smoke signals... Say Ted, just how did you get on the web anyways?
