I just got thru cussing and aguing with the ah's at the cable company bout them dropping Newsmax and NOT wanting to replace it with OAN. I told em I'm NOT interested in hearing what the "other side" has to say bout world events and their reasons for it.!!!
I get Newsmax on the new smart TV in the den,,,as it gets FUBU, netflix, RUBO, VUDO, HULO, PlUTO and many others most of them for FREE,,It gets it's signal from my fiber connection Internet,,,!!  My monthly cable bill is now  $105,!!!  I want to hook the regular TV in bedroom as a slave off the smart TV in den, realizing that the BR TV will also be on whatever channel the den TV is on,,,right?. The Smart TV in den has 3 HDMI ports  labeled HDMI1, HDMI2, HDMI3 plus one port that I've never seen, it is rectangular in shape and all the 4  corners are square, but has a small white piece of plasticv in center of port,,??. There is also 3 RCA type ports (red, white, yellow) where we used to connect the VCR box, no longer used. Also a "LAN port thet looks like a USB conection.
The non smart TV does not have a USB port.  it has 2 HDMI ports, HDMI1 and HDMI2. It has a rectangular port labeled "Service Terminal" that looks similar to the "rectangular port" described above but the center plastic piece is black,,,???? This "service Terminal" was where the cable box was plugged in on the bedroom tv,and THAT cord has a HDMI end. I went to Walmart and the girl said they did not carry long (20 Ft is what I need) lengths of that type of cord,,,,,Don't want to order one unless it will transport signal from smart TV to non smart TV in bedroom,,,,???
 Any comments,,,? ClapClap TIA,

Joe, i think what you want to do is buy a ROKU Device ( separate little black box) and plug into your OLD TV and turn into a SMART TV.... You dont want to tie the two TVs together... Then you can operate each TV separate.

Like them all, but love the "B"s.

The square connection port is to connect a sound bar. A sound bar is usually quite an improvement compared to the built in television speakers.
