Today got remaining lighting wired in on the new to truck fenders, then opted for the first test drive.  Just Two miles out and back where threw cell phone in WS area of dash for return half.  Runs out scary well, best can tell it CAN Speed on Interstate, capable of over 70 with a WIDE Buffer.  Engine Governs at 2100, In Hi Side OD at 60 doing just under 1400rpm, at somewhere Higher and not to limit but good for Interstate on our county road, 1700.

Cell Phone fell over about halfway thru.

I tried to follow the science, but it was not there. I then followed the money, and that’s where I found the science.

Thank you for the thread. I enjoyed following your journey with the KW and admired your extreme patience with the engine issues. I didn’t always comment but I looked forward to reading your posts. Glad it made it out on the road today. Hopefully we will get a camper rebuild thread next?

That singing turbo is cool ...for the first few miles.... then gets real old out on the road for any length of time. Hey! Where's the Jake brake in that video? Local shop claims a decompressed MXS down to 16:1 the Jake won't work?!? HUH?

Jakes work fine, were working as crossed the creek bridge, Window was down as wanted Full Effect of hearing the Turbo, running Out could barely hear it with cab closed up.

Basic block is BXS, MXS predecessor, 6NZ Successor engine, from 18:1 to 16:1 not a issue.

Well,I call BS on the decompressed engine and jakes not working. Likely has less "effect" with lower compression but can't see why it would not work. This guy has his own big truck shop and has more experience than I but I wonder if he's as smart as he thinks he is. Isn't yours flashed 6NZ? How could that matter? I guess the ecm does tell when.

Smooth like glass running
8 bag air ride is sweet!!

Entire processor is 6NZ, engine runs fine, I equipped with mufflers as do not care for the roar anymore, has zero effect on hp and jakes work great. Other fella is a moron.

Finished grill today, and finally resized pic of rear SS Panels I added to cover the major rock dents on sleeper.  Bondo not recommended for Aluminum.

Steps will be coming back off tanks and will get back into Sanding more the buffing better for Shine.  Frame Walk Plates are on order.

No nut covers and
Likely No hubcaps, both retain
Moisture and cause severe corrosion under them

BIG Monkey wrench in the works today, Wife tested Positive Covid.  Harsh Cough, drainage, no Fever but feels miserable, sluggish and slugging.  Off work until the 10th of Nov.  So far I show NO symptoms, she caught it at work.  She has had the Original Two Jabs and Two Boosters.  Me just the first two jabs, trucking job required.

Thanks all, seems these latest variants are not as big a deal, just a scare word Covid.

Still closing out small ticket items on my list but net result is looking pretty good for from where it started.

Walk Plates are on, adjusted Fenders DOWN a inch and half, did a little more cut and buff on sleeper back wall where is down to repairing AC system.  Compressor seal is out what slight amount of charge remaining was wafting there until my detector decided time to die.  Winter is here as of Tomorrow Morning after midnite, NOT gonna take the expense of a compressor to sit and await thaw of spring.  Shop door MUST be up to open hood on truck, not in freezing temps going to occur.

Set the blue beast outside, brought the 180 up, it has the shop now.  Little Mower tractor deck is off, loader on and as such other than hanging chains, ready for Pretty arrival.
