Was putting a mower deck back under a tractor yesterday. When I pulled it out it slide right out no problem. Went to push it back in and my feet slipped out from under me and "BAM" mouth hit the gearbox. Upper canine tooth went through the bottom lip, canine is pushed almost all the way up in my gum, and broke the tooth next to the canine. Little swollen and sore today. About to head to the dentist to see about the tooth. Supposed to leave for vacation after the dentist. We'll see I guess

Thanks fellas. Turns out the tooth wasn't pushed up it just felt that way. It was actually broken off right below the gum. Guess I spit it out and didn't realize it.

Reminds me of the time I had an abscess, lower jaw, just right of center.  Now, back then, I didn't know I had an abscess, just felt a little off, that day.  Anyway, I was changin rims, on the D-10, lug wrench slipped offn the PA clamp bolt, chin hit one of the lugs of the tire, and WHAM, my chin hit, pretty good!  Got this nasty bitter taste, and promptly spit out a mouth full of yellow pus,YUCK! End result was a implant, and a porcelain coated replacement tooth!

Hope you feel better!Big smile

Wow !!! Hope all ends well! Reminds me of when I was taking off rear tire on WD45, and tire iron slipped. I woke up sometime later on the ground in a puddle of blood. Spent the rest of the day in the ER getting my face stitched up..Hope your vacation is still a go!

Well we made it to the Fairfield in West Lancaster Ohio! Stopping here for the night then on to Cleveland for the rock n roll hall of fame and the Christmas story house. Then headed back to Columbus on Saturday and the zoo on Sunday. That's been something Evie has wanted to do for a long time and her birthday was Tuesday so it was good timing. Danielle talked about waiting a day then leaving and I said "I can slobber and mumble in the car same as on the couch". Any of you Ohio boys got a suggestion for Monday somewhere close to Columbus?

Saw this too late.  Sorry for your accident, got to hurt like the devil.  If I'd known I would have directed you at a friends place a bit south of Cleveland near Hinckley.  He's got a dozen or more AC's and some other brands. Or you could have driven a while east to see Chris's and Y(our) new shop and equipment.

There have a very nice Zoo all so Budweiser has a plant there might get some pain relief in samples. There is also a botanical garden, I can't think of the name of it right off. I live just east I -71 of Route 30 about 1/2 way between Cleveland and Columbus if you need anything or can be of any help.

Hey tadams, we're on 71N just above Mansfield I think. There's little white things blowing around here and there. Kinda look like dandelion blooms but I don't see dandelions. What is that? At home I'd say we were following a chicken truck but I haven't seen any of those up here.

Sorry to hear of your injury Tyler , glad you could still get to get out of town . That white stuff is cottonwood seed . Don't light it as it is flammable. Now that I told you , you will have to try.

Hey Shame Shame, she's getting to the age where she might get one everyday for the entire year for her birthday. Which days should I blame you for?

Well... We're going to head home tomorrow. I must say you Ohio fellas have a beautiful state. All the people here are very nice too. That's something that surprised me because everybody from up north that live around us are usually very snooty, bitchy people that have no tolerance for others or their business. I guess y'all don't want them up here either so you send them down there

Well that is bad news Tyler and then there is also the good news!l  HAPPY B'day Evie!!

Tyler, did you ever think that you might have SWALLOWED that tooth?!?!
Glad the vaca was a good one.

Yep, Cottonwood trees.  When they start falling around here, it is the time to go Bluegill and Sunfish fishing.  I use a fly rod and have a ball.  They are VERY aggressive then because the females are on the spawning beds and protective.

Ted, it's very possible I swallowed it I guess. I just don't remember or didn't realize it. It's been a pretty good quick weight loss program. Can't get my mouth open as far as normal so the bites have to be smaller. My only real complaint about the trip is the place we are breakfast at. They claimed to have biscuits but their biscuits tasted just like the cardboard tube they came in. They claim to put sugar in them but I didn't taste any

Hey Bud I hope you get healed up quick.
I had a cutoff wheel explode on a 4.5” grinder once. Thought it reminds bed my front teeth.
Turns out it just took a chunk out of my upper gum and upper lip. The teeth were saved.
I’m being extra cautious this week as we leave for vacation this coming weekend.
Have a safe trip home.
