I have a wd45 with a three bottom plow. we are trying to setup the hydraulics.
i am thinking there is a spring coming from the back of the hydraulic pump going up to the hand clutch cover? is this correct. there is a pin coming off the back of the pump where the linkage comes from the hitch. If there is a spring suppose to be there what size or how strong or does it matter? thanks |

The spring doesen't have to be anything special.I have seen some very flimsy ones that still seem to work.Just has to keep a decent pull up on that lower pin.

All the spring seems to do is keep the slack out of the linkage. Without it the plow will porpoise in and out of the ground, and not maintain a consistent depth, if it will stay in the ground at all. (The voice of experience) LOL

Most problems can be solved with the proper application of high explosives.

yes that is the one we are talking about. will try it out, I do that when the snap coupler spring moves the linkage rod moves and if the spring is on there it will raise the plow. not sure |
