After mowing my warm season cover crop this summer, I had a 10 acre zone in a 50 acre field that needed some lime. I had bought this New Idea 101 spreader in Indiana a few years ago for this purpose, so finally got to use it. It did a good job of spreading, but the lime could have been drier so as not to bridge over. I had to stop too many times to poke the lime. I used the Ben Gay that night. Never the less it was enjoyable. A side note, on the way home from IN we drove through Coldwater, OH right past the old New Idea factory where it had been made decades ago.
