Good evening a’ll
I got another hydraulic pump for my Wd45 diesel and was wondering what the proper way to adjust the hydraulic pump linkage?
Someone told me but that was several years ago and I can’t quite remember.
Thanks
Gavin

A WD45 Service manual will have the correct procedure for adjusting all of the control linkages. An Operators manual will have all of the different screw settings if the decal on your battery box is illegible.
If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY

I think the operator's manual also says how to adjust all the linkages

The Operator's manual does indeed have the linkage adjustments in it. Unfortunately, one step is very WRONG, and will lead you down a path of nothingness. The sentence says something like: "push up" as far as the big link rod will go, when it should say "push down" as far as it will go.  To start, just leave the big/long link rod where it has been for years and concentrate on the HOLD position rod and the Traction Booster linkage.

seems like like you can fiddle around forever if all the linkage holes and pins have alot of slop and need to be repaired  and the snap coupler adjusted ,    that has been my experance in makeing the pump adjustments work right
