Today my dad and I picked up this wd45 serial #156638. The nice guy that we purchased this tractor had owned it since it was only a couple years old, he was very meticulous with how he cared for this tractor, and I thought it really showed, overall I am very pleased with the tractor. love hearing your comments/questions,enjoy, Scott.

Nifty machine you have there. Remarkable condition. I just got the one I have running today. These are really neat tractors. I look forward to using the beast on my small farm right away. Enjoy your tractor. :)

If I remember correctly I think he said he repainted it around 15 years ago. He said that his father and him loved this tractor for running the roto baler. He said that they had an 8N ford also and they like this tractor far better. The reason he sold this tractor is because he bought a tractor with power steering to clean out his driveway.

Gary they seem to be cast to me but could be wrong, I also wondered about these weights, who made them etc. He said he never liked calcium so he put these on.

ACScott you found a real beauty. Wow even the rear weights look cool. Love that color. Course I just love WD's and 45's in general. I know you'll keep her happy. Congrats! Enjoy! Dana

Have a set a weights like that as well. Was told they were made in either Tilbury or Chatham Ontario. There were 2 or 3 dealers in  the Leamington / Comber / Chatham Ontario area that likely had these made aftermarket. Seems to be a local thing. Probably close to 200 pounds, about all I can do to stand them on edge to roll around. Rob.
